Q1：How does it look like in dark with backlight on?
The backlight still shines through perfectly. 🤍Your keys are always visible。
Super easy to apply! The matte texture feels really premium too! It does block the letters a tiny bit but doesn’t affect reading them at all, and in dim light when the backlight is on you can still see the letters clearly (plus, when you type by muscle memory you don’t really need to look anyway). I’m absolutely in love with it

Q2：Does it leave a mark when removed
Clean removal, every time. That's BAREKEY's promise
Q3：Does this leave marks on screen?
It really depends on your habits. Plenty of people end up with keyboard imprints even without using any keyboard cover at all. This film is only 0.12mm thick — most options on the market are 0.3mm or more. So if you do get keyboard marks while using this one, chances are you'd get them without any cover too — it's just a matter of time.
Great quality, no screen printing issues and feels really nice in hand, no sharp edges either. The seller is seriously awesome! I messed up applying a bunch of them, and they still sent me free replacements 😅

Q4：Is the skin oil-resistant?
We've spent 19 years perfecting materials at our Respect factory — and it shows. The matte TPU surface repels oil and fingerprints naturally, so your keyboard stays clean and matte long after other skins would start looking greasy. A quick wipe is all it takes.
Q5：How do I apply
1. Clean — Wipe your keyboard and let it dry for 30 seconds.
2. Align — Hold the skin above your keyboard and match it to the top row of keys.
3. Press — Lay it down gently from top to bottom with your fingers.
4. Done — No adhesive, no residue. Remove and reapply anytime.
I thought it would be super tricky to apply, but turns out it's actually super easy—anyone can do it!

The product is amazing! No more greasy keyboard! Barekey came in a nice packaging and it came with some spare “key” stickers. So even if you messed up a few stickers you can always redo it with the backup stickers.
Very satisfied of the result. My MacBook looks again even more sleek than it was brand new. Application is a smooth process but one needs to pay close attention if you want a perfect result. A nice surprise is that you actually get two items in the parcels, same variant but twice, so if you get something off, you can peel it of and reapply it or use a new one from the second set. The backlighting is a bit reduced but still very visible. My pics are with the keys applied.
I love your product! I've finally been able to get rid of the anxiety I felt every time I saw grease on my keyboard. Thank you for the replacement kit.
The Best Modular Keyboard Skin for My MackBook Pro M5
Overall, I’m very happy with the product. They look great, they were easy to install, and so far they’ve held up really well. I would definitely order them again for Trackpad Skin and Palm Rest Skins, probably even getting an extra set as a backup.
Al principio no me convencia, pero solo era acomodarlas muy bien (algo que me costo un poco). Pero ahora me siento mejor sin ver ese brillo molesto en las teclas jeje :)
They look great on my MacBook and I really like how they pair with the Midnight Blue color. They do make the keys look a little darker, but honestly, I don’t think it takes away from the overall look — I actually really like it.
I’ve had them installed for about two weeks now, and so far, everything has been great. The installation is a little tedious since you have to take your time and line everything up properly, but the process itself is very easy, and the final result looks really clean.
I also want to mention the excellent after-sales service. I had several questions before and during the purchase, and they were very helpful and took the time to answer everything.

I loved it, it's my first purchase, and it's been the best. Because of my country it took a while to arrive, but everything arrived in excellent condition.
Easy application, looks clean and feels nice to type on. The best part? It hides the oil stains and years of keyboard abuse and makes it look brand new! A++ product, thank you!!
"EXCELLENT PRODUCT, 100% RECOMMENDED. IT CHANGES THE AESTHETICS OF THE KEYBOARD A LOT, YOU JUST NEED TO HAVE A VERY STEADY HAND WHEN APPLYING IT OR THE EDGES WILL STICK OUT OF THE KEY."
I had been eagerly anticipating the use of this product for at least three months since my purchase. From the very first moment I reached out to the chat for assistance, I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth and friendly interaction. The helpful person promptly addressed all my questions and concerns.
When the product finally arrived, I was initially skeptical about the amount of effort required to use it, but I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The product turned out to be incredibly effective, and I couldn’t find any similar solutions elsewhere. The keys have a sleek, dark default color, and the overall quality is exceptional.
As I mentioned earlier, your exceptional service and product have won me as a loyal customer for life. Thank you so much for your efforts!
1000/100 I hope you continue to maintain the quality of your products, I will be happy to promote them to the Indonesian market through various platforms 🤏
The black looks awesome, and putting it on was actually pretty relaxing. No more worrying about greasy keyboard shine - it looks so clean and fresh now. Really happy with it!
Great stickers! The cutouts are super precise, and even if you mess up the alignment, they come off easily without leaving a mess. Love that they included an extra row of key stickers on the far right—nice to have a backup in case I fumble it 😄
Really easy to apply. Customer service was super nice—they even hooked me up with a German keyboard layout. After putting it on, my laptop looks way cooler now. 😎
Huawei GT14, the custom keyboard skin fits perfectly, feels premium and super comfortable to type on. The seller was really friendly and gave me tons of help! Thanks a lot, would totally recommend. 👍
First pic: top row has the skin on, bottom row doesn't.
Second pic: all done, but it's full of bubbles 😅 Not sure how long they'll take to disappear.
Third pic: using the keyboard at night after applying—no issues at all!
Will update later with more thoughts!
